AWI Membership

Membership of the Australian Watercolour Institute is by invitation, however, non members can submit works for our Annual Exhibitions for selection. A selection committee of 9 members vote on works submitted for acceptance. All artist's work hung in the exhibition can then be nominated and seconded for membership. They then must receive 50% vote of members present at the general meeting held at the close of the exhibition. The process of becoming a member is designed to maintain the perceived highest possible standard.
